Sound Poems and DADA

An acclaimes performer of classic as well as neo-Dada texts, Bernd Seydel is famous for his “action reading”. Combining recitation, dramatization and singing, and integrating works such as Sound Texts by Hugo Ball, and Sonate in Urlauten by Kurt Schwitters, his performance will transport you back to the Cabaret Voltaire of 1916 and provide insights into what Ball called “The innermost alchemy of word, sound and rhythm.”

Dieses Programm wurde im Februar 2000 im Deutschen Haus der New York University aufgeführt und im Bard-College.
